ENTRY FEE

$6 per person – Child under 13 FREE. NO entry fee will be charged for a Carer that accompanies a person with a disability. Group discount can be pre-purchased $4pp (minimum 10). Note: We ONLY accept cards (credit or debit), NO CASH accepted at the entry gates or at the Bars. Entry fee can be pre-purchased online (valid for 90 days from date of purchase).

CASH – DO I NEED TO BRING ANY

For security and the safety of our staff our bars and gates (entry fee) do NOT accept cash (credit/debit cards incl. American Express are welcomed). Most market Vendors accept both cash and credit/debit cards.  

FEELING UNWELL, SHOULD I ATTEND EAT STREET

If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you DO NOT attend Eat Street. If you have any flu-like symptoms, please contact your doctor for further advice. Please note that we reserve the right to ask anyone who displays flu-like symptoms at Eat Street to leave the venue.

COVID-SAFE VENUE

Your wellbeing is our absolute PRIORITY.

If you have flu-like symptoms, you should NOT attend this Venue and seek your doctor’s advice. Anyone found unwell at the Venue displaying flu-like symptoms will be asked to leave the Venue. Eat Street undercover areas are very large spaces with open ends and high airflows.

 

FOOD AND DRINK – CAN WE BRING INTO THE VENUE

Food and Drinks purchased outside the venue are not allowed inside. The purpose of Eat Street is a food and entertainment hub with a huge variety of different cooked foods to consume.

DIETARY NEEDS

Most traders offer gluten free, vegetarian or vegan options on their menus. See Eat/Drink/Shop page for further clarification.

FOOD ALLERGIES

As this is a busy bustling place it is possible that cross-contamination could occur. Whilst every effort is put into place to ensure this doesn’t happen there is always possible risk. Anyone with any medical allergies or sensitivities please check with each trader and if unsure we suggest that you do not purchase.

ALCOHOL - AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE ONSITE

Yes, the entire venue is licenced. There are five bars onsite including the Whale Bar, John Oxley Bar, Diner Bar, AsiaStreet Bar & the Pineapple Bar. Eat Street Northshore prides itself on the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

We ask you to strongly consider nominating one person in your group as the NON-DRINKING driver.

Unaccompanied Minors will not be served at any Bar and accompanied minors must have orders for non-alcoholic beverages placed by a responsible parent/guardian.

It is illegal to take liquor into, or away from this Venue.

Unduly intoxicated or disorderly persons, in accordance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), will be refused service and may be asked to leave the premises.

We have the right to refuse entry to any person.

All employees are trained and supported by management to request valid identification from persons whom they believe appear under 25 years of age.

PARKING INCL. PICK-UP & DROP-OFF FOR CARS & BUSES

PARKING

We currently have in excess of 1,400 FREE carparks available onsite. Dedicated parking is located in Macarthur Avenue (“DOCK C”) at either end of the Venue. Travelling eastwards along Macarthur Avenue towards Eat Street  is carpark “C”, driving further along  (passing Eat Street) is carpark “D”, entrances both on your right-hand side. Both carparks have direct pedestrian access to the Venue with only a short walk.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP

Cars – Set down/pickup point is located in carpark “D” (DOCK C) accessed off MacArthur Ave

Buses – Set down/pick up point is located in Bincote Street (adjacent to the large steel tank) – short walk through Maritime Green to Eat Street Northshore

The CityCat is another great option as the Northshore Hamilton Ferry terminal is only a short 250mtr walk away. 

SEATING

Eat Street Northshore has ample seating and many more places to stand, eat and drink at our dry bars.

DISABILITY

Please make yourself known to our entry staff upon arrival and we will try to assist you and your party with whatever help you may need. We have a portable wheelchair ramp, two disabled toilet facilities located close to both entrances, wide, easily accessible sealed pathways throughout the entire venue. There is ample PWD parking onsite. There is also a PWD ATM located at the eastern “HELLO” entrance.

Please note this is an old historic wharf that may have some imperfections.

NO entry fee will be charged for a Carer that accompanies a person with a disability.

LOST AND FOUND

All staff are directed to hand in lost property to the main information office located close to the western entrance in “TradersSquare”. Please enquire at the office in the first instance otherwise call our duty venue manager on 0428 485 242.

LOST CHILDREN OR PARENT

Make contact with the closest onsite security officer, bar staff or one of our red t-shirt event staff ASAP. Procedures are in place to manage these situations.

RAINING

We have a total of 9 large undercover spaces for shelter and plenty of seating out of the weather.

EXTREME WEATHER

The safety of our guests and staff are paramount. In the event of extreme weather, we may close the venue, if this occurs we will advise the public as best we can through messaging on social media and our website.

ATM’S

We have 1 ATM (PWD) onsite located at the eastern end of the venue (“HELLO” gate)just inside the entrance.  

PARENTS ROOM

Baby change facilities are located inside our disabled toilets. There are two disabled toilet facilities onsite, one located near each entrance.

HIGHCHAIR

If you require the loan of a highchair, please visit the information container located near the western entrance.

DOGS AND PETS

Eat Street Northshore welcomes all pets. They must be people friendly, can’t be on any tables or seats, kept on a short leash, managed by an adult, not allowed within 3 metres of any food servery, must be able to be carried when in congested areas, all artificial turfed areas are no-go zones, accidents must be cleaned up immediately, unfriendly behaviour will not be tolerated and limit of one pet per adult.

You hereby accept full responsibility for any incidents that cause injury or distress.

Assistance animals such as guide dogs are welcome in all areas.

FIRST AID

Our Management and Security Teams are all fully qualified in Senior First Aid or level 2. There is an extensive first aid kit onsite including a Heartstart Defibrillator.

PROHIBITED ONSITE

Alcohol (BYO), distribution of promotional material, illegal drugs, glass, any items considered dangerous or otherwise illegal, weapons of any kind, laser lights, water pistols, skateboards, scooters, roller blades or the like, furniture incl. chairs, no external food or picnics.

SMOKING or VAPING

Smoking/Vaping is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the venue.

REFUNDS ON ENTRY FEES/SPECIAL EVENT FEES

TRADERS - VACANCIES

All of our traders are permanent small family-owned businesses. We rarely have any positions within the venue that become vacant. We are always very conscious of competition inside the venue and rarely allow any duplication.
